Two-time speedskating Olympic champion Lee Sang-hwa announces retirement
SEOUL -- Lee Sang-hwa, a two-time speed-skating Olympic champion in 500 meters, announced her retirement, 15 months after she won a silver medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in front of her home crowd. The 30-year-old, who first competed internationally aged 14 in Canada, will hold a ceremony at a hotel in central Seoul on May 16 to end her career.
