To this end, the carrier said, it will buy three Boeing 777-200ER wide-body planes by the end of 2015.
Jin Air, the budget arm of the country’s largest airline Korean Air, said it plans to increase its fleet size from the current 11 to 20.
The 20 jets will consist of three B777-200ERs and 17 B737-800s. At present, it operates 11 B737-800s.
The B777-200ERs will seat 393 passengers, it said.
