FIFA chooses Son Heung-min as one of 16 players to watch in 2015

Bayer Leverkusen's South Korean attacker Son Heung-min is on the list of 16 footballers "to watch in 2015," which was posted on FIFA's official website on Wednesday (local time). FIFA is the world's football governing body.

Son, who currently has 11 goals and three assists in 26 matches so far this season, is the only Asian player included in the list.

Other players on the list include Bayern Munich's midfielder Mario Gotze who scored the winning goal for Germany in the 2014 FIFA World Cup final in Brazil; Bayern Munich's Brazilian attacking midfielder Lucas Silva; Portuguese club FC Porto's Mexican defender Diego Reyes; AS Roma's Greek defender Kostas Manolas; Frankfurt's Swiss forward Haris Seferovic; and Valencia CF's German defender Shkodran Mustafi.
