Actress Jun Ji-hyun is Elle's cover girl in Asian countries

South Korean actress Jun Ji-hyun, the heroine of the mega-hit TV series “My Love from the Star," will appear on the front cover of the Korean version of the fashion magazine Elle's April issue, Elle Korea said Wednesday.

She will also appear on the cover of the Chinese, Hong Kong, Taiwanese, Malaysian and Vietnamese versions of the magazine's May issue, it said.

The upcoming versions will also carry photographs of Jun. 

The Singaporean version of Elle's May issue will also publish pictures showing the actress, Elle Korea said. Elle is the world's best-selling fashion magazine.  

Jun has gained popularity in China and Southeast Asian countries, as well as in Korea, with her role in “My Lover.” 

Jun and actors Lee Jung-jae and Ha Jung-woo star in South Korean action film "Assassination" to be released later this year.
