CL ranked second in the U.S. news magazine's online voting earlier this week to select the TIME 100, after Russian President Vladimir Putin. She was the third South Korean to be nominated, after singer-actor Rain and rapper-singer Psy.
Included in the TIME 100 final list, released Friday, were Putin, U.S. President Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Chinese President Xi Jinping, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Pope Francis.
