The 2015 Global Green Growth Forum (GGGF) will open on Sept. 23 at the Plaza Hotel in central Seoul, under the theme of "Creative Economy and Great Korea."

Hosted by The Aju News Corporation, the 7th GGGF will present a blueprint for helping South Korea join the ranks of advanced countries through "creative economy." The incumbent Park Geun-hye administration’s slogan of creative economy calls for bolstering the ICT sectors and enhancing national competitiveness through cooperation between ICT and other industries.

During sessions on the first and second days of the annual forum, CEOs, experts and scholars from around the world will share success stories of creative economy and start-ups.

On the third and last day of this year's GGGF will feature a special session on creative economy and former President Park Chung-hee's leadership.

During the session at the VIP restaurant of the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, Hilton L. Root, a professor of public policy at George Mason University, located in Arlington, Virginia, the United States, will give a keynote lecture.

Root, a policy specialist in international political economy and development, has authored more than 100 publications, including a book titled "The Key to the East Asian Miracle: Making Shared Growth Credible (1996)."
