Two Major Leaguers coming to play for Kia Tigers next year

Two Major League Baseball (MLB) players made one year deals to play for Kia Tigers next year, the Tigers announced on Wednesday.

The players acquired by the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) are Hector Noesi and Zeke Spruill. Both right handed players. Noesi signed his deal for U.S$ 1.7 million becoming the second highest paid player in KBO history. The first was Esmil Rogers, he signed his deal with Hanhwa Eagles for $ 1.9 million, on Monday.

Noesi, who appeared in ten games for Chicago White Sox this year has MLB record of 12-31 with 5.30 ERA. Spruill, signed for $700,000. He played in the Major league in 2014 and 2014. He recorded 1-3 with 4.24 ERA last year. Spruill was in the U.S. team last month at Premier 12 Tournament held at Japan.

KBO allows each team to carry up to three foreign players and at least one has to be positioned at each game.
