Early in Wednesday, the world of Instagram was full of panic. Caused by the social media’s app irregular behavior, users suspected of it being hacked.

The Instagram app logged out a bunch of its users with notification that the users’ password had been changed. Panic spread among its users, some of them suspected the app being hacked by professional hacking groups.

The waves of panic swept the users’ community. Since Instagram is specialized in uploading and storing photo / video images of its users, violation of privacy came to mind to some of its users.

But fear not, an Instagram official had announced the panic-inducing situation this morning was caused by a bug in the app.

The official said that “We experienced a bug that logged out some people and showed incorrect error messages. You will be able to log back in as normal though it may take longer than usual. No passwords were changed as part of this issue.” via its official Twitter.
