Hyundai Motor Group, the leading car maker in Korea will meet its anti-fans face to face in a meeting, Hyundai announced on Wednesday.
Being the national’s leading car maker, Hyundai has a lot of fans and anti-fans for as long as its history in Korea. The anti-fans criticized Hyundai for a long time, the anti-fans mostly were active in online communities and Kwak Jin, the Vice President of Domestic Sales of Hyundai will specially invite them to meet face to face.
Mr. Kwak aims to solve the misunderstandings between the company and its anti-fans. The anti-fans will be picked from “Bobae Dream”, the most active automotive online community site. Hyundai is to take careful notes of the critics’ opinions on why they show negative expressions towards the company and will consider applying some of the anti-fans’ voices onto their next cars.
A Hyundai official said, “We expect bitter criticism from the anti-fans, but if we take some time to listen to people who take great care for our products, it could be a start to getting some positive response from the public.”
The “Maeum Dream” talk-concert will be held at Namyang Hyundai R&D center on December 14. Applications for attendees are available for submission on Hyundai’s official web page (www.hyundai.com) and Bobae Dream.
