“Inside Men” Starring famous Korean actor Lee Byung-hun, Baek Yun-sik, and Cho Seung-woo is about to record its five million viewers. An extraordinary record for R-rated movie in Korean movie industry.

According to the Korean Film Council’s report released on Monday, The movie recorded 299,838 viewers on Sunday alone, topping the Korean box-office. Inside Men opened on November 19, it has accumulated total viewers of 495,853.

Experts from the industry are very surprised by the movie’s popularity since R-rated movies in Korean film market do not get many numbers of viewers since it’s harder to gain its number due to limitations of its viewers’ age.

Inside Men depicts dark corners of Korean society. Inside men from media, politics, law enforcement fight for their fate in order to take hold of the reign of power.

Second on the box-office is the “Heart of the Sea” which accumulated 338,953 viewers total. “The Priests” is on third of the list.
