Naver is ready for its new 360-degree video service which is due to be released during this month. The Korean internet giant announced the plan on Monday,

Global internet companies such as Facebook and Google were already providing its users with 360-degree video. The virtual Reality (VR) video lets the viewer look around enhancing the viewing experience.

On PCs, looking around is done by using a keyboard, and on using head mounted displays (HMD) or VR headsets, the view can just turn his or her head around to enjoy the full 360-degree video.

Google is very enthusiastic with VR videos. Google Maps recently launched a project which hard to reach locations and historical sites are filmed with VR technology so that the views can enjoy the great view at home. Also, pros and amateurs are uploading thousands of VR videos on YouTube.

Facebook bought VR HMD maker Oculus in 2014. The much anticipated VR HMD is to be released in the first half of next year.
