Big Bang, one of the hottest idol groups in Korea, will not attend end-of-year ceremonies from the main broadcasting companies (KBS, SBS, and MBC), the group’s management company YG Entertainment announced Wednesday.

End-of-Year ceremonies are the biggest stage broadcasted during a year’s schedule. For some artists, it is an honorable experience to perform in the ceremonies since people’s favorite artists are chosen to.

But Big Bang decided not to attend the ceremonies to focus fully on their next album.

“The Big Bang members feel very sorry towards the fans as they are not able to attend the end of the year music award ceremonies. But they are keeping their promise to fans and have chosen to make a great effort in composing their 'MADE' full album. In order to gift the fans with a perfected album even a day earlier, they are focusing completely on composing night and day even through the holidays." The YG Entertainment spokesperson said

It is unclear when the MADE album will be released, but it seems to be one of the most waited albums by fans to be released in 2016.
