Jukkasjarvi, Sweden has opened 26th edition of its ice hotel. The hotel made up entirely of ice on last Friday. The hotel consists of more than 4,000 tons of ice and chandeliers made from 1,000 hand cut crystals of ice.

The hotel, now a world-famous seasonal accommodation, features 50 rooms with unique identities and themes. Ice used in construction is collected from Torne River in March and is stored until construction which starts in October or November every year.

Artists around the world which number up to 200, gather to build the hotel. Delicate carvings and statues are the trademarks of the accommodation.

The hotel will be in business until April. Around 50,000 people are expected to enjoy the accommodation this year. Rooms cost from U.S$ 295 a night
