Information about LG’s new smartphone “G5”, which rumors say it would be released in April next year, had been leaked in an online community “reddit.com” Wednesday.
Along with a photo image of G5’s camera unit, its spec sheet was also leaked. Although LG Electronics have not confirmed it, the information is a great treat for the LG fans this holiday season.

Below are the points of interests leaked with the spec sheet.
- Full metal uni-body with built-in battery
- 5.3-inch QHD display
- MicroSD card and SIM slot
- 3GB of RAM
- Snapdragon 820
- Heart rate sensor in the back
- Dual camera – 16mp and 8mp
- 8mp camera for selfies
- USB Type-C
- Pressure sensor
- Fingerprint reader
It is not sure what LG plans to do with the dual camera setup in the back, but experts presume that G5 will feature similar gimmicks HTC’s M8. Users may select certain focus points after taking a picture with LG G5.
The leaker also mentioned the Android OS included “feels like stock Android OS and very fast”. LG is well known for tweaking with Android OS to near perfection. The experiences of manufacturing the Nexus series, the company gained know-hows on stabilizing the OS.
