LG Display is to introduce “flexible” display at the Consumer Electronics Show which starts from Wednesday in Las Vegas. The cutting-edge technology could change the paradigm in many industries.
Among consumer electronics, the display industry is one of the fiercest battlegrounds. Manufacturers race to develop latest technologies to overtake its competitors. LG came up with an OLED display which is flexible, also, can be rolled up like a sheet of paper.
This invention is already bringing up great expectations. The paper-thin, flexible, and rollable display can be adapted into countless numbers of fields such as clothing, smart devices and home appliances.
Along with the flexible display, the company will exhibit 65 inch and 77 inch UHD OLED television panels. Also, LG’s first 8K display television model will be exhibited in CES.
