There had been news that South Korean actor Kang Dong-won had a meeting with officials at YG Entertainment. Experts predicted that the famous Korean actor will join the entertainment giant, but nothing is sure for now.
YG Entertainment made an official announcement on Friday that the rumor about Mr. Kang and YG having a meeting is true, but signing a deal to join the entertainment group has not yet been sealed and is unclear for the time being.
Kang Dong-won, who recently starred in a film “The Priests” had been a favorite of movie fans nationwide. Having his contract with another agency UAA expired last November, He became the center of focus in the FA market of the film industry.
It is known that he received love calls from multiple entertainment agencies. He also considered in creating a one-man entertainment agency with his manager, who had been at the actor’s side for as long as he can remember.
Even though YG had announced that nothing’s clear at this point, a source from the industry said that it is very likely for Mr. Kang to join YG Entertainment.
