Vancouver Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying three Middle Eastern men who were taking photos in Pacific Centre Mall in downtown Vancouver on Tuesday evening.

A police official said that the men were taking 360-degree video and a lot of photos at the mall. Their focus was on taking pictures and videos of exits and entrances of the mall, especially on Dunsmuir Street exit.

The mall security spotted the men via security cameras and they moved to locate them but were unsuccessful.

Many Canadians and others from around the world have their focus concentrated on the men. Some people in online communities have expressed their anger claiming this is an absurd accusation caused by racial discrimination, but others worry if the men are preparing some kind of terrorist acts.

Tension among people arose after series of atrocities of IS’ doing. November last year, organized attacks in Paris left the world in shock, followed by suicide bombings in Turkey and Indonesia.
