Director’s cut version of film Inside Men draws record viewers

“Inside Men: The Original”, the director’s cut version of film “Inside Men” accumulated more than two million viewers watched the movie, breaking a record for local director’s cut.

According to the film’s distributor Showbox Mediaplex, the normal version of Inside Men drew 7.07 million viewers, and its director’s cut, which was released on December 31, 2015, broke the one million marker in six days of its opening.

The film depicts dark corners of South Korea, where starring stars Lee Byung-hun, Cho Seung-woo, and Baek Yun-sik, fight for their place in the nation’s power game.

Director’s cut version had fifty minutes added into the normal version to give detailed explanations on the characters and their relationships to each other.
