3D CAD of Samsung Electronics’ new flagship smartphone “Galaxy S7” had been leaked and its overall design seems to be more rounded shape than its older brother, S6. Also, its camera hump will be smaller than its older brothers, protruding only 0.8 millimeters out of the smartphone’s rear side.
A Twitter user, “@OnLeaks”, who is infamous for the accuracy of rumors he collected on IT devices, posted series of images on his Twitter, Tuesday. The images are made of 3D CAD, Galaxy S7’s curves and outlines are clearly visible.
Rendered images show that the S7 will feature similar designs of its Galaxy brothers, but this time, edges of the smartphone’s screen are more rounded, leaving smoothed out curved impression.
Although camera hump reduced in size and overall shape more curved, S7 is expected to be slightly thicker than S6. OnLeaks said in his post,”Still there I guess knowing #GalaxyS7 is thicker. What BTW helped to visually reduce the camera hump.”
The exact schedule of the Galaxy S7 is not known, but experts of the industry are expecting the flagship smartphone is very likely to be released in March.
