LG Mobile started a countdown to release of its flagship model “G5”. The second largest South Korean smartphone manufacturer will release its first flagship of 2016 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2016.
This year’s MWC will be a fierce battlefield. Along with G5, Samsung’s “Galaxy S7” and “Galaxy S7 Edge” will also be introduced at the congress. While two South Koreans go head to head on their flagship’s release, HTC, Huawei, Lenovo, Sony, Microsoft, and other mobile device makers will introduce new models for this year.
Other than smartphones and tablets, virtual reality (VR) devices will be the hot item at the MWC. Experts expect to see a lot of new VR devices introduced at the congress, along with small and middle sized laptops and wearable devices.
MWC Barcelona 2016 will be held on February 22-25. But the announcements come with huge press launches on the day before the congress’s opening.
