LINE Corporation released “Foodie” on Wednesday, a new camera app dedicated to delicious photos of food. The app is available for iOS and Android OS devices.
Foodie app has everything a user needs to take delicious photos. The app has 24 dedicated filters such as “Meats”, “Sushi”, “Cakes” and others to make food more delicious. Also the app’s “Best Angle” features lets the users know when the camera is horizontally above the food so that the photos which look like images from a gourmet magazine can be taken.
The app also has a social network friendly feature. Users can choose the ratio of the photo taken so that it could be uploaded without editing onto Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and etc.
According to a LINE official, the company will continue updating the app with more filters and features to help its users to take better photos of their food.
Foodie is not the first camera app released by LINE Corp. The messenger app giant had released “LINE Camera” and “B612”, both compatible with LINE messenger app and could be used independently as a camera app.
B612, a selfie app became a hit among LINE users. The app provides users with various filters and video features ideal for sharing over LINE messenger app and Instagram. The app surpassed 100 million downloads worldwide.
