Hani, a member of South Korean idol group EXID, is to take indefinite hiatus due to her health conditions.
Yedang Entertainment, EXID’s agency announced on Saturday why the most popular singer is taking some time off. “Ever since ‘Up Down’, drew so much attention at the end of 2014, Hani’s schedule had been completely full, giving her no time to rest,” the official said.
“To ensure Hani is healthy, we decided to give her a short break.
The agency also told the media that Hani has developed gastroenteritis, which is an inflammation of the digestive system, which requires a couple of weeks to heal. Due to Hani’s severe conditions, her doctor ordered the EXID member to take full rest until she is healed.
The agency spoke about when her return will be. “Hani is extremely enthusiastic and passionate about her appearing in TV shows, but she will take a short break and recover as soon as possible.”
