‘Reply 1988’ star Ryu joon-yeol to take role in film ‘Taxi Driver’

Ryu Joon-yeol, a South Korean actor who gained great popularity in a hit drama “Reply 1988” is to take a role in a film “Taxi Driver”.

According to various media report, it is confirmed that Ryu will take a role in the film Expectation are rising as Ryu will be acting along with movie stars Song gang-ho, and Yoo Hae-jin. Although Ryu gained famed through a cable drama Reply 1988, he starred in a film “Social Phobia” and the actor himself thinks the silver screen is his main stage.

The film Taxi Driver will be directed by Jang Hoon, he had produced hit films such as “The Front Line”, and “Secret Reunion”. The film depicts a story about a taxi driver who visits Gwangju, a southern city of Korea.
