There were rumors which Apple, creators of iPhone, will leave out 3.5 mm headphone jacks out of upcoming iPhone 7. According to recent leaks, the rumor may well be true.

The headphone jack rumor enraged many smartphone users as many of them, use their everyday item as a music player. If there’s no headphone jack on iPhone 7, it means its users will have to buy a new pair of Bluetooth headsets or other wireless devices to listen to music. Or, worse, Apple may come up with a new headphone which only connects to iPhone via its Lightning Port connectors.

It seems as the rumor will turn out to be the real thing. A well-connected Twitter user “OnLeaks” revealed a set of images which look like a case for the new iPhone 7, but it does not have a hole for the 3.5 mm headphone jack on either of its sides.

In the world of smartphones, leaked cases are a good indication of what to come. Many case manufacturers receive schematics from the smartphone makers so that they can release the cases along with the smartphone’s release. So, if a case is leaked, it is probably the shape of the smartphone.
