Hani, a member of South Korean girl group EXID, is to debut in the acting by taking a role in a comic sitcom “Sound of the Heart”, which is based on a popular web cartoon of the same title.
According to Daily Sports’ report on Friday, Hani is to take a role of “Aebong”, a female character in the sitcom. Aebong is a comic character who loves to cook, but always ends up with disastrous results, also, she is the girlfriend of the main character “Jo Suk”.
Since the singer’s debut in 2012, many producers made love-calls to Hani but were refused. Many fans of EXID and the original web-cartoon are showing great expectations on upcoming sitcom. The sitcom will be made into ten-minute long episodes.

“Sound of the Heart” is one of the most popular web cartoon in South Korea. It was first published online in 2006, and still holds fans hearts with the author’s witty, comic stories of his everyday life.
