South Korea on Friday launched a travel bus service for foreign tourists who want an overnight trip between its capital and tourist attractions in provincial areas.
Six "K-travel" buses carrying 60 foreign tourists left Seoul after a ceremony organized by the Visit Korea Committee, which operates its website (www.k-travelbus.com).
The service, exclusive for foreigners only, offers a convenient overnight trip.
The price of a bus travel package is $150~170, which covers a foreign language guide, accommodation, a free morning meal and experiential events. Extra money is required for lunch and dinner at designated restaurants.
The package can be reserved at the website, and a travel bus is available once a week with a minimum of four adults.
