Reports were made from Samsung's "Galaxy S7" users that the smartphone stutters when recording a video in slow motion. However, this stuttering glitch does not apply to every S7 models, it only applies to S7s fitted with Snapdragon 820 variant chipsets which were sold in China and the US.

SamMobile, a newsgroup specialized in Samsung mobile related news, reported on Tuesday that a bug was found among the Snapdragon 820 applied S7s and its users may experience stuttering effect when playing a slow motion filmed video clip filmed with the device.

Samsung Galaxy S7s are made into two variants. The models sold in South Korea feature Exynos 8990 chipsets and other features Snapdragon 820 chipsets. "Galaxy Edge 7" models are fitted mostly with Exynos chipsets.

The company is yet to make an official comment about the matter, but SamMobile sees the bug can be cleared by a simple update.

However, more claims are being reported that some Galaxy Edge 7 users are also experiencing the stutter when a slow motion video clip is played on the device. If stuttering found on the Edge devices is true, then Samsung may need more time to make bug fixes for Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets.
