The most popular South Korean TV show "Infinite Challenge" has cancelled its guerilla concert which was planned for April 8 due to schedule leak.

Infinite Challenge official tweeted on Wednesday that, "Due to guerilla concert's schedule leak, concert planned to be held at the World Cup Stadium at Sang-am on April 8 is cancelled."

Guerilla concert is a TV show format which was popular in the 90's, which the artist hosting the concert gathers audiences on the day of its opening. If the artist succeeds in gathering designated number of audiences, the concert is carried out as planned. If failed, the concert is cancelled on the spot and its audiences are sent back home.

The guerilla concert was to host "Sechs Kies", one of the first generation boy groups, as a sequel to last year's "To To Ga". To To Ga brought a lot of positive response from the viewers by planning a concert featuring the k-pop starts from the 90's. The popularity of To To Ga led to Joint concerts of legendary artists and listening to 90's music became a trend for a while.

The cancellation of the guerilla concert disappointed many fans who waited for decades for the comeback of the six-member boy group, but Infinite Challenge commented that "We are very thankful for the viewers' patience. We will let you know as soon as we come up with a fixed plan regarding the concert."

Sechs Kies is the first generation boy-group which debuted in 1997 and disbanded in 2000. The six-member group gained the nation's popularity, especially among female high school students for their fast-paced dance tracks.
