The Intellectual Property Business Congress (IPBC) will be held at JW Marriott Seoul Hotel on Friday. It will be the first such meeting to be held in South Korea.
As a platinum sponsor, intellectual property management company CPA Global will lead the IPBC Korea forum.
Organisers said the invitation-based event would allow intellectual property experts to discuss "key issues and challenges in developing IP value creation strategies".
It would also provide an opportunity for professionals to outline international opportunities, challenges, and pitfalls that they face.
"We are honored to serve as a platinum sponsor for the first IPBC Korea," Ahn Sung-sik, general manager of CPA Global Korea, said in a statement, adding that CPA Global would continue to stress the importance of intellectual property as well as the need for patent management.
Ahn will act as a moderator during the "Survival of the Fittest" session.
