Nintendo had been recently attracting gaming fans' attention with teasers and leaks of their new upcoming console, known as "NX". Finally, the company confirmed the next generation console and its release date on Wednesday.
The company confirmed the console's release during its annual financial results announcement, but unfortunately, nothing is known about the device, except the company had previously commented that it's a "brand new concept".
Creator of world famous "Super Mario Brothers" series, Nintendo had always been criticized for their console's performances. While Sony and Microsoft released up-to-date spec consoles, Nintendo's had always been a step behind.
But according to rumors, the NX may well be based on the latest tech. Some rumors even say that the console will be based on Android and will be a hybrid platform between handheld and home console units.
