Sechskies, the first generation of South Korean boy groups have signed a management deal with YG Entertainment, the largest agency in Korea.

Previously, the members of Sechskies were spotted with Yang Hyun-suk, the president of YG Entertainment, arousing rumors that the boy group is getting ready to get back together. The rumors turned out to be true. YG Entertainment confirmed that Sechskies is joining the agency on Tuesday.

YG Entertainment announced, "YG Entertainment is now officially under contract with Sechskies. From now on, Sechskies will receive full support on their promotions. However, former member Go Ji-yong, who is now a businessman, did not sign along with other members. But there are possibilities that he may still join us later for various performances and album recordings."

Debuted in 1997, the boys led the Korean music scene with fast-paced dance tracks which later became their identity. But after the group's disbanding in 2000, its members went separate ways. Recently, the boy group appeared on "Infinite Challenge", the most popular TV show in Korea, and held a concert event which drew a lot of public's attention and sparked rumors of Sechskies' reunion.
