A new controller from Samsung was unveiled through a series of leaked images Thursday. The controller is a custom device only usable with the Samsung's virtual reality (VR) headset "Gear VR"

Various media outlets reported that the controller will feature an analog stick, six buttons, and it will be attachable to the Gear VR headset, making it easy to carry around. The reports said the controller will weigh about 300 grams.

Samsung preparing for a dedicated controller for its VR system could be a good indication of the company focusing its powers into the mobile / VR gaming market. A series of VR systems including Gear VR was released this year, opening a new era of VR, but the lack of playable contents became the market's shared concern.

The tech giant also announced Thursday the launch of the Galaxy S7 Edge "Injustice Edition", saying the release date will be in mid-June. Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition is a result of collaboration between Samsung and Warner Bros. to commemorate the third anniversary of a mobile game "Injustice: Gods Among Us", which is a fighting video game based on the fictional universe of DC Comics. Many familiar superheroes and villains such as Batman, Superman, and Joker appear in the game.
