CLC, a South Korean girl group made a promise on Monday, that the girls will shave their heads if they reach the top of music charts with tracks from the group's fourth mini-album "NU.CLEAR".

The girls made a promise at a showcase celebrating their comeback album. An MC asked the members of CLC what they would do if they reach the top of the Korean music charts. The girls were given a choice between making lovely expressions during a TV music show, busking (street performing) at Hongdae, and shaving their heads.

The girls immediately chose to shave their heads and said "If our title song 'No' tops the charts, we will really shave our heads. We are determined and ready for our activities with the new album." CLC's new album is produced by famous music producers such as Sinsadong Tiger and Son Young-jin.

However, the girls' brave promise brought worried responses from the public. A Naver user left a comment saying "If topping the music charts can be done with strong determination, anyone could do it. I am worried that they might get pushed out of the charts too early. Won't this promise only bring negative feedback from the people? It would have been better for them to just stay silent."

Some even mocked the group for making goals and promises which they cannot possibly achieve. A user from an online community pointed out that "Even top girl group like AOA failed to top the charts. There's no point in making such goals and promises. I bet the members of CLC know this very well."
