South Korean Kim Sei-young picked up her second win of the 2016 LPGA Tour season in a playoff.

Kim defeated Carlota Ciganda on the first playoff hole to capture the Meijer Classic at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont, Michigan.

Kim, the 2015 LPGA Rookie of the Year, and Ciganda ended the regulation tied at 17-under 267. Kim shot a 68, while Ciganda carded a 67 to set up the sudden-death showdown.

Kim only needed one playoff hole, as she birdied the par-four 18th, while Ciganda could only manage a bogey.

Kim, 23, won three times last year and is the second South Korean with multiple victories in 2016, along with Jang Ha-na, also a two-time winner in 2016.
