South Korean K-pop idol Yoochun launched a legal battle Monday to prove he is innocent, after a fourth woman sued him for alleged raping in the bathroom of a karaoke bar, according to his management agency.

Yoochun is under investigation by police over a series of bathroom raping involving four women. His agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said in a statement on Sunday that the disgraced singer-actor would file a libel suit with evidence showing he was innocent.

"Yoochun will sincerely cooperate with the investigation," the agency said, accusing the women of making "false accusations and blackmailing".  On Monday, Yoochun's attorney visited a police station in Gangnam to file a libel suit against the first woman.

The sex scandal began on June 14 when a woman sued Yoochun of raping her in the bathroom of a private membership bar in Seoul's Gangnam district. The first woman dropped her suit after presenting her underwear as evidence, but three other women filed separate rape suits against Yoochun last week.

The second, identified as a bar employee in a Gangnam bar, claimed she had been sexually assaulted on December 16.  The third woman accused Yoochun of raping her at his home in June 2014 after drinking at a bar.  The fourth woman claimed she was sexually assaulted in the bathroom of a karaoke room while drinking together in February 2015.

C-JeS Entertainment insisted all the suits were based on groundless allegations but warned Yoochun would leave the entertainment community if he is found to be guilty in any case.
