Doenjang is the traditional Korean bean paste used widely in a variety of recipe. It has a unique rich flavor which blends in nicely with meat and vegetables.

The Korean-style paprika and green chili salad using Doenjang is a perfect side dish for main meals with rich flavor. It washes off residual taste, ensuring a fresh taste explosion from the main meal.

It's also very easy and requires only a few minutes to cook. The salad is an ideal side dish for any meal.

If not available, Doenjang can be replaced with its Japanese version of Miso.

Ingredients
- Two paprika
- Two green chilies (or red chili)
- A tablespoon of Doenjang
- A tablespoon of finely diced garlic
- A tablespoon of sugar
- A tablespoon of sesame oil

Cooking directions
- Remove core, seeds, and bottoms of Paprika
- Cut paprika into evenly sized square-shaped pieces
- Chop green or red chili) into lengths of about 2cm
- Put the ingredients into a bowl
- Add a tablespoon of finely diced garlic
- Add a tablespoon of Doenjang
- Add a tablespoon of sugar
- Add a tablespoon of sesame oil
- Mix well until Doenjang is evenly applied onto the ingredients.

Serving directions
- Serve onto a dish or a salad bowl.
