Chinese members of South Korean girl groups protested on social media platforms against the international court's South China Sea ruling.

Victoria, a K-pop girl group f(x) member of S.M. Entertainment, posted a map that includes the South China Sea in Chinese territory on her Instagram and Weibo accounts Tuesday.

Along with the map, the 29-year-old singer from Qingdao wrote, "China cannot shrink by the slightest bit."

Miss A's Fei of JYP Entertainment and Fiestar's Cao Lu of Fave Entertainment, aged 29 and 28, respectively, also voiced complaints about the ruling on their social media websites.

The comments were made the same day that the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague concluded that China has no historical rights to the waters, which may contain abundant resources and are a key shipping lane. The arbitration case was filed by the Philippines, which opposes what it calls Beijing's encroachment on its territorial rights.'
