The special edition of "Train to Busan", a Cannes-invited film, will be screened at ScreenX theaters to provide fans with true zombie panic experience in 270 degrees.

CGV, South Korea's top theater franchise, said the 30-minute sequence of the zombie apocalyptic movie's special version will be played on all three surrounding ScreenX screens from July 20.

ScreenX is CGV's specially designed theater which consists of three screens installed side by side to provide a wider angle of view. Previously, CGV screened a special version of "Himalayas" on ScreenX, providing a 270-degree view of Himalayas' beautiful surroundings. There are 46 ScreenX theaters in South Korea.

Train to Busan is a sequel to "Seoul Station", an animation directed by creator Yeon Sang-ho. The film depicts a story about a band of people striving for survival on a bullet-fast train hit by a zombie outbreak.

The horror movie has been thrown into the spotlight  because previous home-made zombie films have not been so successful. Expectations are high on the ticket power and screenplay of actors Gongyu, Ma Dong-suk, and Jung Yu-mi. Also, an invitation from this year's Cannes Film Festival would play a role in attracting moviegoers who are new to zombie or horror films.
