Chive is an essential ingredient in everyday Korean meal. It is used in many recipes such as simple salads, soup, and even kimchi. Chive has a distinctive fresh taste which goes very nicely with meat, fish, or hot meals.

Coriander, also known as cilantro, is not commonly used in Korean cuisine because its unique taste is too strong for some. But coriander is a great ingredient, adding a kick to salads and cold meals.

This salad requires less than 10 minutes and a small amount of ingredients to make. It's also very easy to cook.

Ingredients
- 300 grams (0.7 lbs) of chive
- 100 grams (0.25 lbs) of coriander
- An onion
- A tablespoon of red chili powder
- A tablespoon of soy sauce
- A tablespoon of finely diced garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon of fish sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon of vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon of honey or sugar
- A tablespoon of sesame oil

Cooking directions
- Cut chive into lengths of four to five centimeters
- Remove stalk from coriander and separate leaves
- Cut onion into fine slices
- Put the ingredients into a bowl
- Add a tablespoon of red chili powder
- Add a tablespoon of soy sauce
- Add a tablespoon of finely diced garlic
- Add 1/2 tablespoon of fish sauce
- Add 1/2 tablespoon of vinegar
- Add 1/2 tablespoon of honey or sugar
- Mix the ingredients
- Add a tablespoon of sesame oil
- Mix well until sesame oil is evenly applied onto the ingredients.

Serving directions
- Serve onto a dish or a salad bowl.
