Seungri made an official apology about leaning his bare foot against a window in a train.
The 25-year old singer uploaded a post on his Weibo, a Chinese counterpart of Facebook. In the post, Seungri said: "I sincerely apologize for my actions on the train. As I reflect on my actions, I promise to be more careful next time. I am sorry for disappointing the fans. It won't happen again."
Last week, a photograph of the Big Bang member was uploaded onto a Chinese website and quickly went viral. The star was asleep on a train with his bare foot leaned against a window. Seungri soon became under fire by Chinese fans for being rude in a public place.
Many Chinese online users responded with furious negative comments. On the day the photograph went viral, a Weibo user said: "He should have been more careful. He is, after all, a popular figure and everyone is watching his every move."
However, some were sympathetic and one said: "He must have been so tired. People make unintended mistakes when they are so tired."
