Beatles member Ringo Starr will visit Seoul in November for his first concert in South Korea, a concert planner said Wednesday. Ticket pre-sales will begin on July 28.
The concert was set for November 5 at a gymnasium in southern Seoul, according to World Show Market. Starr will be accompanied by guitarist Steve Lukather, a member of US rock band Toto, and Todd Rundgren, a songwriter and guitarist for US rock band Utopia.
In February, the legendary rock band's digitalized hits were available on South Korean music streaming websites for the first time. The list covered a total of 17 Beatles albums, including 13 regular albums, the best hits of the Beatles and other compilations.
