"Hwachae" is Korean fruit punch made mainly out of watermelon and milk. When served cooled, it is a great dessert also a tasty appetizer to jest up mealtime. It is especially good for summer parties.
Ingredients
- 1/2 watermelon
- A peach
- A tablespoon of blueberries
- A large cup of milk
- A large cup of Sprite
- Three tablespoons of condensed milk
Cooking directions
- Dig out red flesh from watermelon with a spoon, leaving only the white flesh and skin.
- The skin part of the watermelon will be used as a bowl to hold the fruit punch
- Dice peach into small cubes
- Add 1 large cup of milk into a mixing bowl
- Add 1 large cup of Sprite into a mixing bowl
- Add three tablespoon of condensed milk into a mixing bowl
- Mix well
- Put fruit pieces into the watermelon bowl
- Sprinkle blueberries on top
- Pour milk & Sprite mix into watermelon bowl
- Decorate with mint leaves
Serving directions
- Serve cooled
