Samsung released a video teaser for the upcoming “Galaxy Note 7”, which is scheduled to be released in August.
Also, being truthful to its nature, the teaser trailer hinted at some of Note7’s new features. The hints are below -
1. Iris scanner – The video says there’s no need for a password to be complicated. The fingerprint scanners on smartphones had been around for years now. Maybe, Note7 will feature the rumored iris scanner.
2. Better camera – The trailer also points out that camera does not really need good lighting to take a great picture. Samsung had been making outstanding improvements in their smartphone camera sensors, reducing noise and enhancing images in low-light situations. Many experts are expecting the tech giant to introduce a batter camera sensor with Note7.
3. Real-time translation – There’s a possibility of some kind of translating app or feature will be included in the Note7. In the teaser, Samsung mentions that memorizing is not everything in learning a foreign language. It is also possible for Samsung to include some kind of a language learning app in their next flagship.
4. Water tightness – Samsung added IP68 water resistant feature to Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Since Samsung’s bold move brought a lot of positive response from the consumers, it is likely to add water resistant feature to Note7.
5. It will be Note7. Not Note6 – Considering that the latest Note series was the Note5, the upcoming Not in August should have been Note6. There were rumors that the upcoming flagship will be named Note7 to match the Galaxy series’ model name, but Samsung did not confirm the rumor until now. The teaser says “6 doesn’t have to be the next number after 5,” which reflects the next Note will be named the Note7.
