I.O.I, an 11 member girl group, is likely to come back to the South Korean music scene as a full group in October.
Various media reports said Tuesday that the comeback of I.O.I, one of South Korea's hottest girl groups, is slated for October. The girls are supposedly recording tracks for their new album this week.
I.O.I's agency YMC Entertainment told the online media outlet, OSEN: "It is true that the girls will make come back as a full group but the exact date for their return is not yet decided."
I.O.I members were picked from South Korea's survival audition program "Produce 101". The girls debuted as a project group in May 2016 and are currently active as a seven-member unit group while other members formed separate unit groups or were involved in solo activities.
