South Korea's largest carmaker Hyundai Motor has released a dynamic video showing off the handling performance of its high-performance brand "Hyundai N" test car.

Hyundai has built up its reputation as a reliable and efficient brand choice over decades but lacked in high-performance models. To meet global needs, the company
unveiled "Hyundai N" at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. Feedbacks from motor fans and critics were great.

Hyundai has been dogged by dissatisfied claims from consumers worldwide about the handling of its cars. Suspensions were rather soft compared to German and Japanese rivals, and the company's electric power steering (EPS) gave drivers a rather awkward feel. Some Hyundai brand owners claimed steering was too light and flimsy while handling was considered the company's Achilles' heel.

To prove improvements made on handling, the Hyundai N test car shown in the video demonstrated its high performance in testing. The test car is supposedly the "i30 N", judging from its distinctive hatchback design.

In the video, Hyundai pushes the limit of its test car, winding through a series of tight corners, uphills and downhills. The test car seems to feature a manual transmission, also a T-GDI engine.

Hyundai had already hinted at the new i30 model in early August, saying it would be introduced this month, but it did not specify when the i30 N model would be launched.
