Microsoft has released its new "Surface Book" with longer battery life and faster performance than its previous models during its "2016 Surface Event" in New York .
The American tech giant showed off its latest Surface Book featuring a 13.5-inch display, an Intel i7 processor and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M graphics processing unit (GPU), capable of 1.9 teraflops of graphics performance. Microsoft also added a fan to the redesigned cooling system of the new laptop, ensuring top performance even when the laptop is under full load. The Surface Book has 16 hours of battery life.
Microsoft disclosed that the Surface Book will be available for purchase from November 10 and it is priced at 2,399 US dollars (256GB version), 2,799 dollars (512GB) and 3,299 dollars (1TB version). The laptop is currently available for pre-order from Microsoft's website.
The new Surface Book brought a roar of praises filled with expectations from fans. Some experts predict the Surface Book to be about three times faster than the 13-inch MacBook Pro, one of the top-performing laptops in the market.

Microsoft also revealed 28-inch Surface Studio, an all-in-one workstation suited for graphic designers and illustrators. The desk top-like workstation's display can be tilted to a suitable angle becoming a huge canvas.
