South Korea's Samsung Engineering said Monday it has received a 174 million US dollar order from Nexen Tire Corp. to build a tire plant in the Czech Republic.
Under the 200 billion won ($174 million) turnkey contract, Samsung Engineering will build the plant 70 kilometers (42 miles) northwest of Prague. The plant capable of producing 15,000 tires every day will be completed in June 2018, the South Korean company said.
