LG Electronics released its Android Nougat OS update Tuesday for G5 smartphone users. The OS update file is available from LG's website.
"We were able to provide the stabilized upgrade by reflecting the needs of our customers," Kim Hyung-jung, a senior vice president in charges of LG's mobiles research and development, said, promising to provide quick and sustainable services for customers.
LG released its latest flagship V20 at the end of September featuring Nougat OS for the first time in the world. G5 would be the second non-google-made smartphone to feature the latest OS.
