The solo debut of Miss A member Suzy, a leading figure in disseminating Hallyu (Korean culture wave), is imminent, according to a newspaper report.
Asia Kyungjae quoted multiple insiders from South Korea's music industry as saying the singer-actress has finished filming a music video and a photo session for her solo album in Hong Kong. Miss A's agency JYP Entertainment told various media outlets that the date for Suzy's solo debut has not been fixed.
There have been rumors about the 22-year-old going solo and the group's dissolution since Suzy started her career as an actress in 2011. She was selected as the main actress in a news TV drama "While You Were Asleep".
Many fans believe Miss A members are not getting along well because of lopsided importance. The group released a comeback album in March 2015 but showed no activities this year. Jia left the group in May.
