South Korean singer-actor Rain will come back to the music scene on January 15 with his first new album in three years, his management agency said Monday.
R.A.I.N. Company released a teaser poster through its website, saying Jung Ji-hoon, better known as Rain, has been working on his new single album. That will be his first album since the 34-year-old released his sixth album "RAIN EFFECT" in January 2014.
According to his website, Rain is preparing a collaboration performance on his comeback to leave a strong impression.
Rain is famous for his unique eye-catching concept and different performances for each album and tracks. Media reports emerged that the singer had already finished filming a music video and was at the last stage of producing an album.
Rain debuted in 2002 as a singer and started his acting career in 2003 by appearing in a TV drama. He later took main roles in Hollywood films – Ninja Assassin and Speed Racer. Known as the first generation of a Korean world star, he enlisted in the army, ending his activities abroad without much achievement.
